THE NAME OF ELOHIM

This document has been written for the Glory of our LORD YESHUA the Messiah.

Dear brothers and sisters in faith may the LORD bless you and give you Shalom (Peace). I pray that I would find you with an open heart, free of any prejudice and ready to consider this revealed Word.

The following message can open up to you a revelation from His Word. (Remember Daniel 12:4,9) This revelation can open the door for the Spirit of God to be spread over all the congregations as it was prophesied by Joel the prophet (Joel 2:28a) "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh."

Yes brethren, the LORD is faithful and he will send the "Latter Rain" as He promised (Jeremiah 5:24; Joel 2:23; James 5:7) "For he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month."

And we will receive a double portion of His anointing: (Is 30:26) "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that Yhuh bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound."

But, before you read it, it is essential that you consider the following prayer before the LORD. This prayer will renounce any false teaching, that all of us may have, and it will help prepare you to receive "new wine".

Mark 2:22

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, he pours new wine into new wineskins. (NIV translation)

Prayer to renounce false:

LORD I ask you to reveal any false teaching or understanding in me, I renounce the old wineskin, I renounce any false teaching, I renounce any human doctrine, I renounce any replacement theology, I renounce all demon's doctrines, I renounce any lie of the enemy in the Name of the LORD YESHUA the Messiah.

LORD God I ask you to transform me in to a new wineskin to be ready to receive new wine, lead me to the truth and reveal to me your Word through the Holy Spirit. In the Name of the LORD YESHUA the Messiah. Amen.

Let's start with the Old Testament Scriptures.

What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Proverbs 30:4b

From very ancient times we see mankind asking God about His wonderful Name.

And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy Name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after My name? And he blessed him there. Genesis 32:28,29

And Manoah said unto the angel of Yhuh, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour? And the angel of Yhuh said unto him, Why askest thou thus after My name, seeing it is secret (wonderful)? Judges 13:17,18

Notice that God didn't answer these two questions about His name…

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Exodus 3:13-14

God also didn't reveal His Name to Moses. He only gave him a way to call Him "I AM" in Hebrew - "EHYEH". "EHYEH" literally means, "I WILL BE".

We may think that Yhuh (*) () is the Name of the LORD (Yhuh in Hebrew was translated as "The LORD" in most English versions) but in Exodus 6:2,3 we read:

And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am Yhuh: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Yhuh () was I not known to them.

Now we may think that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob didn't know that way to call God Yhuh (*) - , but we read in Genesis 4:26 that from the time of Seth (son of Adam) men began to call the Name Yhuh ().

And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name Yhuh.

We read in the Psalms that we should proclaim His Name to our brethren!

I will declare thy Name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. Psalm 22:22

And the LORD promises us in the Scriptures that He will reveal His Name to His people and to Israel.

Therefore my people shall know My Name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. Isaiah 52:6

So will I make My holy Name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute My holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am Yhuh, the Holy One in Israel. Ezekiel 39:7

And in the following verse we learn that the Name of Elohim is ONE and the LORD is ONE.

And Yhuh () shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yhuh (), and his Name one. Zechariah 14:9

(King James Version "Yhuh ()" = "The LORD")

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6

Note; here that the name of the "CHILD" will be called "THE MIGHTY GOD", "THE EVERLASTING FATHER" we all know that this prophecy refers to YESHUA.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yhuh shall be delivered (Will escape). Joel 2:32a

Now John says that to have the right to become sons of God we have to believe in His Name.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in His Name, he gave the right to become children of God. (NIV) John 1:12

We read that YESHUA said that He manifested to the chosen ones the Name of the Father when he prayed to the Father saying.

I have manifested Thy Name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. John 17:6

Now is the time to ask, what name YESHUA manifested?

The answer is only one… His own Name: YESHUA.

And the following verse confirms that. But it wasn't translated correctly, part of this verse was omitted in some translations like the King James, but when you check the following sentence in the old Greek manuscripts or in the Aramaic, you will see what the Lord YESHUA really said.

Hereafter I am not in the world, but these are in the world; and I am coming to thee. O holy Father, protect them in thy Name, "which thou hast given Me", that they may be one, even as We are. (Lamsa, NIV, NASB) John 17:11

The LORD YESHUA shows us here that "He" received the Name of the Father.

That’s exactly what YESHUA said:

I am come in My Father's Name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:43

More than that YESHUA said to the apostles that they have already known and have seen the Father. (Remember Isaiah 9:6. A Child is called the everlasting Father)

If ye had known Me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:7

And he that seeth Me seeth Him that sent Me. John 12:45

I and My Father are one. John 10:30

Because God is One, and He had been manifested as the Son of God

Hear, O Israel: Yhuh our God is one Yhuh. Deuteronomy 6:4

And His Name is also one: "YESHUA":

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

To him give all the prophets witness, that through His Name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Acts 10:43

The LORD YESHUA promised us that He will declare that Name again and this is the time when He will declare it again as He promised.

And I have declared unto them Thy Name, and will declare it: John 17:26a

God has been hiding His Holy Name for centuries as the prophet said:

Verily Thou art a God that hidest Thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. Isaiah 45:15

Now YESHUA commands us to go to the nations and baptize.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19

YESHUA said "IN THE NAME" singular, after that He spoke two titles and the Holy Spirit. Father is a title; Son is a title. These are not names. More than that, the Greek word "eis" used here was translated as "in" but it means also "toward", and the word "kai" in Greek was translated in this verse as "and" but it means also "even" (as used in John 5:21 "even the Son").

Therefore this sentence can be read:

"Baptizing them towards the Name of the Father, even the Son, even of the Holy Spirit."

This is not a formula; it's an instruction. The apostles didn't understand that until the day of Feast of Weeks (Shabuot in Hebrew, Pentecost Greek) with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Now before we talk about that glorious day, let's remember the promise that YESHUA made to Peter:

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

YESHUA said to him that He will give to him the keys of the kingdom. And in the day of the Feast Of Weeks just after Peter received the Holy Spirit he declared the Keys in the earth to loose souls from sins and bind them to heaven:

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of YESHUA Mesiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

The name that Peter spoke in the original language was: YESHUA; only the name "YESHUA", that means; Yah or Yhuh SAVIOR, can save us.

Note: The Greek here uses the word "en" that means "in" in English making a clear difference between Mathew 28:19.

Note that if Peter received the power to bind and loose, we must take it seriously because of the faith we have in the Word of YESHUA.

There is no contradiction with what YESHUA commanded us in Mat 28:19 because the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost is One, because God is One and His Name is One and there is no other Name under the heavens to receive forgiveness of the sins, that is the Name of the LORD YESHUA the Messiah from Nazareth. AlleluYah!

It is good also to mention that in the Aramaic the verse of Acts 2:38 says.

Said to them Shimeon return to God and be immersed every man of you in the name of Yhuh YESHUA for the release from sin that you may receive the gift of the Spirit of Holiness.

(The Peshitta Aramaic-English New Testament An Interlinear Translation. Glenn David Bauscher)

We see that only after YESHUA was "glorified" the apostles understood that He really is God.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. John 20:27,28

Only now can we easily understand the sentence that YESHUA declared in Matthew 11:27b:

No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. (NIV)

YESHUA said that no man knows the Son, we thought that we knew the son! but YESHUA said that we don't. And He added that only if the Son reveals the Father, then you will know the Father, and He has just revealed Him to you.

If we have forgotten the Name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god. Psalm 44:20

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy Name for ever. Selah. Psalm 44:8

Now we have just received the revelation of the Name of God, but what should we do with that? There is much we can do with this revelation, and it can release the power of the Holy Spirit over all the congregation.

Immersion

Let's remember what we need, to enter the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? YESHUA answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:4-5

We need to be born of water and of the Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God, (remember that the LORD YESHUA commanded us to seek the Kingdom of God in Luke 12:31), now let's not interpret this Word of God and start to just receive what is written.

To walk in the newness of life, to be born again, to enter the kingdom of God, we need to be baptized. To be born of water and of the Spirit, we need to be baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, only then we will enter completely in the Kingdom of God

We know that the LORD YESHUA is the only one that can immerse us (baptize) in Spirit and in Fire (John 1:33), but Peter declares the Key in Acts 2:38, "Baptize in the Name of the LORD YESHUA the Messiah for the forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Dear brothers and sisters this Word reveals to us that we will receive forgiveness of sins if we are immersed in the Name of YESHUA, and also reveal that the gift is for the whole congregation. We all know that there are believers that already were immersed in the Spirit, but this is only because of the Lord's great mercy and because the LORD is using them.

In the chronics of Acts we see only immersions in the Name of The LORD YESHUA followed by laying on of hands, by the apostles, on new believers for them to receive the Holy Spirit.

Two times the Spirit fell on all the people without lying on of hands after immersing:

1.     In the day of "Feast Of Weeks" when the Holy Spirit fell upon the Jewish believers for the first time.

2.     In Cornelius's house when the Spirit fell upon the gentiles for the very first time.

We can now learn in the following situations taken from the book of Acts how the apostles treated the new believers.

Cornelius house:

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And he commanded them to be baptized in the Name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Acts 10:44,48

Peter didn't lay hands on them because they had all already received the Holy Spirit.

But in all other cases the apostles always laid hands on them after immersing them in water.

We know that John the Immerser came in the spirit of Elijah, now with obedience to the Word the very same spirit will be in all through many immersions. And the Ruach Elohim/Spirit of God will be restored and we will be all in the same Spirit.

And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things (Mark 9:12a, Mt 17:11)

Then the Glory of the LORD will be manifested in the congregation and it will be ready to be taken in the ark of the Holy Spirit like in the days of Noah. ALELUYAH!!!

YESHUA is coming soon, get ready!

Amen. Come, LORD YESHUA. Amen.

Note: Unless otherwise indicated the verses from the Bible are in "light blue" and taken from the translation called "The King James Version 1769", the literal translations are in "dark blue", the Name YESHUA has been kept in its original Hebrew form, the Greek word Christos has been kept as Messiah his real meaning.

(*) The expression "the LORD" has been kept also in its original form of four letters Yhuh where "U" is a "long U", this is the transliteration of the Hebrew letter "Vav", that YESHUA in His big mercy has revealed to us that was the old way of pronouncing.
